Description

The TEROS 10 soil water content sensor is a robust version of our basic and simple soil moisture sensor. Its 70 MHz frequency minimizes salinity and texture effects, making it accurate in most soil or soilless media. With a tough epoxy body, the TEROS 10 is designed to withstand some of the harshest field conditions, meaning trouble-free measurements for the duration of your research. In fact, we are so confident in the long life of our line of TEROS sensors that we have increased our standard warranty from one to three years.

The TEROS 10 sensor allows you to characterize your site with sensors at multiple depths and locations, even on a tight budget. It is designed to last longer in the field in difficult conditions. You will no longer have to worry about unexpected data gaps due to faulty sensors. It is one of our toughest soil moisture sensors and its body withstands harsh environments for up to 10 years. Ideal for large detection networks, it is sensitive to small changes in VWC across the range of soil and substrate water content and can be installed anywhere from dry desert soils to very wet peat. Not only that, the TEROS 10 has very low power consumption and high resolution.
