Description

Maximum precision

The rain gauge accurately measures the amount of rain that has fallen using an automatically emptying tilting bucket. It has a reed switch that opens every time the weight of the accumulated water tilts the spoon, which produces a pulse that can be recorded using a datalogger or pulse counter. It is specially designed to comply with the guidelines established by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO).

Patented automatic emptying system

A magnet keeps the spoon in a balanced position, so that emptying occurs through a rapid movement of the tip, which immediately returns to the initial position to collect a new portion of water.

Robust, weather-resistant design

The instrument features a robust design and is made entirely of corrosion-resistant materials to ensure maximum durability.

Mounting options

The rain gauge can be installed at different heights as necessary, either on a hard surface or nailed to the ground using the optional fixing bases. The optional anti-bird crown prevents birds from landing on the mouth of the funnel.
