Features

Up to 4 physical thermocouple inputs

  • Thermocouple probe K, J, S, B, T, N
  • Direct input of bipolar voltages with a range of up to -60 to +140 mV
  • Sensors with voltage output (range -60 to +140 mV; accuracy ±100 µV or -18 to +18 mV; accuracy ±20 µV)

Evaluation of up to 16 variables

Up to 16 variables can be calculated from the four connected probes/sensors. This is the sum of the measured and calculated values. The calculated values can be the result of conversions between channels, e.g. the difference of two connected temperature probes.

The measured values are stored in the internal non-volatile memory. The memory capacity is up to 1 million values. The logging mode can be set as non-cyclic, when logging stops after filling the memory, or cyclic, when after filling the memory the oldest stored values are overwritten with the new ones.

The measured values are displayed on the display with backlight option and the ability to change the size of the display digits.

Power

Multilogger can be powered by an AC adapter or by rechargeable batteries with charging capacity. The batteries are always part of the device (you can also use standard AA alkaline batteries). The batteries power the device for several months.

While using the AC adapter, the batteries provide backup operations and provide logging and measurement during a power outage. Thanks to the Ethernet output, the device reports the failure via an e-mail message.

Alarm limits and alarm indication

It is possible to set two independent alarm limits for each channel (i.e. measured or calculated value).

Alarm signaling can be acoustic (built-in buzzer), optical, sending an alert via email or an alarm output. The alarm output is for connecting an external visual or audio alarm.

Communication interfaces
Multilogger is always equipped with a USB connector for communication, data analysis and also for charging the rechargeable batteries.

sends an email when an alarm state begins or ends
uses DATALINK: displays current values or downloads values from memory to the COMET database on your PC. The COMET Database software contains many useful tools for data analysis: graphs, tables, statistics, etc.
Simple wireless communication with TP-LINK Wi-Fi router
Third-party apps to read actual measured values using universal SNMPv1 and XML protocols
View current measured values using your web browser

ALARM OUT output

  • The output can be used to control other devices when the alarm is triggered, such as an external buzzer, telephone dialer, etc.
  • Output type: Open collector transistor
  • Maximum switching current: 100 mA
  • Maximum switching current: 100 mA Output voltage: 24 V
  • Auxiliary voltage at terminal: +5 V (only when mains power is present)
  • Users can receive alarms if values go outside the set parameters. Alarms are indicated by an internal buzzer, 3 LEDs, or email alerts via the Ethernet port.
