The pH-11 pH meter is supplied with:
Description
It is a pH meter used in a wide variety of analyzes and measurements. It measures pH reliably and very easy to use. It takes only a few seconds to give a result, making it an ideal instrument for analysis in the field.
This tool can be useful for decision making when carrying out quality inspections, since it provides an immediate evaluation of the pH value in many applications such as:
Uses:
- Fresh water analysis.
- Aquariums.
- Wastewater.
- Soil analysis for improved agriculture.
- Analysis of food freshness.
- Fermentation and brewing.
- Research laboratories.
- Quality controls of medical and cosmetic products.
- Preventive dentistry.
- School education.
These devices incorporate a flat ion electrode for measuring microvolumes. The replaceable electrode makes use of the same measurement principle as the traditional glass electrode. They only require a few drops (0.1 ml) to provide a fast and accurate analysis.
It can be used as a traditional pH meter by immersing the electrode in a liquid.
Main features:
Temperature compensation.
Automatic calibration: recognizes calibration solutions. The user can choose one or two point calibrations.
Detection of the stability of the result.
Waterproof (IP67).
Automatic selection of the appropriate range.
Automatic shutdown (30 minutes).
Different methods for measurement:
Immersion: You can analyze the sample in a beaker.
Sampling: Use as a shovel to test water.
Drops: LAQUAtwin meters can measure sample volumes as small as 0.05 ml by placing a drop of sample on the sensor with a pipette.
Solid samples: Foods containing some moisture can be tested by placing a small piece directly on the sensor.
Powders: Simply place the powder sample on the sensor and pour the defined volume of deionized water on top.
Paper and fabrics: If you want to analyze sheets of paper and fabrics, cut the sample into small pieces and place them directly on the sensor. Pour the defined volume of deionized water on top.
Measurement in three easy steps:
1. Calibration: For correct calibration it is necessary that the sensor be previously clean. If this is not the case, rinse it with water and put some standard solution on the sensor and press the calibration button. A smiley face will appear to indicate that the calibration is complete. Clean the sensor with water until the calibration solution is removed and dry it with a soft, clean tissue.
2. Analysis: You only need a tiny amount of sample, so you only need to fill the sensor and wait a few seconds for the smiley face to appear.
3. Cleaning: Always keep the sensor clean.
Sensors should be replaced after approximately 1500 measurements or when calibration cannot be performed. Sensors are sold separately and can be easily removed and replaced.
The only pocket meter that directly measures pH in 0.1ml sample (or 0.05ml sample with sampling sheet B). Unique sensor allows measurement of viscous liquids, solids, and even powder samples. No need for a beaker to calibrate your meter or measure a sample. Just place few drops of the standard or sample onto the flat sensor. This procedure saves you time and prevents wasting your precious sample.
