SG-050 Heated Precipitation Detector

The SG-050 Heated Precipitation Detector from Apogee Instruments is a premium sensor designed to detect precipitation in many forms (rain, snow, sleet, and freezing rain) with pinpoint accuracy. Equipped with an integrated heating element, this device prevents ice buildup, ensuring uninterrupted performance even in the harshest conditions, giving you confidence in your data. When used in conjunction with the SG-4XX Weighted Precipitation Gauge, the SG-050 can provide verification of small precipitation events.
