SO-110 Soil Response Thermistor Reference Oxygen Sensor

The SO-110 has a standard 60 second response time, is designed for use in terrestrial applications, and features high quality cable terminated in pre-tinned conductors for easy connection to data loggers and controllers. It comes with a thermistor temperature sensor to correct for temperature changes and a resistance heater to raise the membrane temperature approximately two degrees above ambient to prevent condensation from occurring on the Teflon membrane and blocking the sensor's diffusion path. Typical applications include measuring O2 in laboratory experiments, monitoring gaseous O2 indoors for climate control, monitoring O2 levels in compost piles and mines, monitoring redox potential in soils, and determining respiration rates by measuring O2 consumption in sealed chambers or measuring O2 gradients in soil/porous media.
