Description
The rain sensor makes it possible to determine the exact moment when a rain or snow phenomenon occurs. Thanks to a special surface heating system that evaporates the water in a few moments, it is also possible to determine the duration of the event that characterized the rain.
The sensor is equipped with a gold-plated stainless steel grid that, through a conductivity measurement, detects the presence of water on its surface and closes a clean contact (relay) that can be acquired by a data logger. The sensitivity is adjustable by trimmer.
Not suitable for distilled water.
