It is a calcium meter used to measure hypocalcemia in bovine blood. It measures calcium reliably and is very easy to use. It only takes a few minutes to give a result, making it an ideal instrument to know the health status of your cow.

Description

Specifications:

Range: 0.1 to 5.0 mmol/L.
Resolution: 0.1 mmol/L.
Accuracy: ± 20% of reading value.
Calibration: 2 points.
Standard solution 1.25 mmol/L
Standard solution 2.50 mmol/L

The wide measuring range (0.1 to 5.0 mmol/L) allows high concentrations to be measured without the need for dilution.

Uses:
- Evaluation of the calcium content in the blood of dairy cows.

This equipment incorporates a flat ion-selective electrode for microvolume measurement. The replaceable electrode uses the same measuring principle as the traditional calcium ion-selective electrode (ISE). It only requires a few drops (0.3 ml) to provide a fast and accurate analysis.

Automatic selection of the appropriate range.
Automatic shutdown (30 minutes).

Measurement in three simple steps:

1. Calibration: For a correct calibration, the sensor must be clean beforehand. If not, rinse with cleaning solution and put some standard solution on the sensor and press the calibration button. A smiley face will appear indicating that calibration is complete. Wipe the sensor with cleaning solution until the calibration solution is removed and dry it with a soft, clean tissue.
2. Analysis: Only a tiny amount of sample is required, so just fill the sensor and wait a few seconds until the smiley face appears.
3. Cleaning: Always keep the sensor clean.
Sensors should be replaced after approximately 1000 measurements or when calibration cannot be performed. Sensors are sold separately and can be easily removed and replaced.
This calcium meter comes in two formats:
