PlantPen/N-Pen N 110
PlantPen/N-Pen N 110 is a lightweight, battery-powered, reflectance-based instrument that provides a convenient and cost-effective method for effective nitrogen management in plants during their growing season. Basically, the N-Pen characterizes the amount of nitrogen by means of reflectance and by the concept of a close link between chlorophyll content and nitrogen content in plants.
The robust and compact N-Pen can be used for plant biology research or for education. Thanks to a built-in GPS module and a splash-proof cover, the N-Pen is suitable for field experiments. The measurement is non-destructive and allows for fast and repeated monitoring during the growing season.
The device is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The measured data are stored sequentially in the internal memory of the N-Pen. Data transfer is done via USB or Bluetooth communication. The comprehensive FluorPen 1.1 software provides data transfer routines and many additional functions for presenting data in tables and graphs.
