Description

AM-330 UNDERWATER SENSOR – This telescoping underwater sensor allows users to measure Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) in hard-to-reach locations such as above plant canopies, aquariums, and in the corners of growth chambers. The extendable sensor can be used outdoors, in controlled indoor grows, and in freshwater and saltwater environments.

SENSOR SPECIFICATIONS – When fully collapsed, the sensor length is 11.25” (28.5 cm) and extends to 36.25” (92 cm), measured from the end of the handle to the center of the bracket. The sensor platform contains two mounting holes to accommodate Apogee Instruments’ wider and narrower diameter sensor heads. This sensor is compatible with Apogee’s Quantum Sensors, DLI Meters, and Pyranometers.

MEASURING PAR IS KEY - Measuring PAR levels from grow lights is one of the most important measurements for precision growing plants and other photosynthetic organisms in greenhouses, grow chambers, farms, gardens, and aquariums. Knowing the amount of PAR received impacts decisions about all other growing parameters such as water requirements, temperature, nutrient levels, CO2 levels, and more. The AM-330 Wand makes measuring PAR levels much easier.
