Description

HF05 Industrial Heat Flux Sensor
The HF05 measures the heat flux through the object it is mounted on, in W/m², as well as its surface temperature in °C. The sensors in the HF05 are a thermopile and a K-type thermocouple. A thermopile and thermocouple are passive sensors; they do not require power. The sensors inside the HF05 are protected by a fully sealed stainless steel body.

Typical applications for the HF05 are fouling studies in industrial environments mounted on pipes or the jacket of reactors. The HF05 is also used for industrial insulation performance assessment. Using the HF05 is easy. It can be connected directly to commonly used data logging systems. Heat flux in W/m² is calculated by dividing the output of the HF05, a small voltage, by the sensitivity. T
