H-TEC's Junior Basic, J101 is a Solar Hydrogen Experimentation System consisting of solar module, PEM Electrolyser, hydrogen and oxygen storage tanks, PEM fuel cell and fan (for electric load); mounted on a black base-plate, and textbook. The included H-TEC Education fuel cell textbook contains information about the technology and instructions for a variety of experiments.

Cell 5 of the PEM electrolyzer
The PEM electrolyzer separates water into hydrogen and oxygen. It works with distilled water and does not require caustic solutions or acids.

PEM H2/O2 Fuel Cell
The PEM fuel cell generates electrical energy from hydrogen and oxygen. It is based on PEM technology, which is the most widespread technology used in the development of fuel cell applications, for example for motor vehicles or stationary power supply systems.
